The author introduces us to an unusual family there are two daughters in this family and a mother who has her own challenges The early days of of the girls lives seem not too extraordinary but things change as they grow up I enjoyed the interplay between the sisters and their friend Noah But really different ending than I expected Great short readjust wish there were poignant conversations between the sisters once they got where they were going hopefully no spoiler alert.


  2. This story grabbed me from the beginning I cared about the characters, especially Alice and Leila and their complicated relationship I was keenly interested in how the drama would unfold, and I loved the ending I look forward to reading from this eloquent writer.

From the first sentence, I felt connected to the characters and cared about their lives The author s high level of attention to detail and beautiful descriptive language is impressive for an emerging writer Weeks after completing this story, I find myself still thinking about the sisters and their parents I want to know what happens next Although this short story, Fault Line, is complete, I encourage Ryann Eastman to consider expanding it into a wonderful book.
